Detailed Breakdown of Your Adventure
After arriving in Manaus, you’ll spend your first night at a comfortable hotel included in your package. This gives you time to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.
The following morning, a guide will greet you in the hotel lobby. Your luggage will be handled for you and loaded into a shuttle or bus, depending on how many guests are joining the expedition. Along the way, you’ll pick up other guests before continuing to the Port of Manaus.
From the port, you’ll board a boat and begin your journey into the Amazon. This first day is filled with unforgettable experiences—swimming with pink dolphins, feeding arapaima at a fish farm, enjoying lunch on the water, and visiting an indigenous tribe for a cultural experience. You’ll also witness the incredible Meeting of the Waters, where two rivers flow side by side without mixing.
After crossing the Amazon River, you’ll unload from the boat and board a shuttle or bus once again. This portion of the journey takes you through small towns and villages, offering a glimpse into everyday life along the river. You’ll make a brief pit stop at a local convenience store where you can purchase snacks, drinks, or any personal items you may need.
The journey continues to a small local bar, the final stop before reaching the lodge. Here, you can relax with a drink or snack while the guides unload luggage and transfer everything onto smaller boats. Once loading is complete, you’ll board these boats and travel down your first river toward the lodge.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the lodge staff and assigned a room. Guests traveling solo will be paired with a roommate, while groups will be accommodated together depending on party size. Dinner will be served at a scheduled time, allowing you to unwind and settle in.
The following morning, you’ll meet your dedicated fishing guide—an experienced local who knows these rivers inside and out because they live and fish these waters every day. This guide will be with you throughout your five-day fishing adventure.
